If this is the case, I want to help you with this because I have been in your shoes as well, and sometimes it can be overwhelming to see the different software that exists nowadays and you don’t really know which one to choose according to your business model.
And by the way, if you don’t know what is a website builder, it’s called a CMS content management system. So. Let’s get started… I got started in the online business world by creating e-commerce stores. When I was searching around, I was looking at different options, but I immediately went with Shopify.
And the reason is that Shopify is a software designed specifically for e-commerce. So I went ahead and mastered the platform. Also, another platform that I like is woocommerce, but it’s a little bit complicated, so I stuck with Shopify and simply because it’s the best one for this type of business model and it’s easy to use.
It has all the different features and. E-commerce stores need in order to succeed online. And I can tell you a lot of things about Shopify, the pros, and cons, but I just want to go straight to the point, this is the best platform for E-commerce. It cost like $30 a month, but it’s completely worth it.
So if you’re looking to create an eCommerce store, I highly recommend you to go with Shopify hundred percent, the best one in the market nowadays.
Now. When it comes to creating a service-based business website or creating a blog that makes money or affiliate marketing, all these different things, then I highly recommend you use WordPress.
WordPress is by far the best website builder for this type of business, and I recommend WordPress because is the oldest content management system in the market. This means that a lot of software, a lot of programs that you might want to implement or use in your business, have integrations with WordPress.
Also take in mind that a website, an online store doesn’t work by itself, you have to compliment those platforms with different tools. In this case for WordPress these tools are called plugins and for Shopify are apps, but basically, they have the same functions. They add different functionalities to your website in order to be better.
So that’s the main reason I recommend WordPress. And if you want to go the extra mile to create an even better website, I highly recommend you use WordPress with a page builder that is called Elementor.
I used Elementor to basically designed my client’s websites in my own website in any way I want. It a page builder that is like drawing on a piece of paper it’s really easy to use, and this is the main reason I love Elementor because you can create almost any website possible that you can imagine.
And I know that for some people they’re really picky with some designs and you want to have maybe the logo in a certain way, the footer or the header menu, some sections, some animations. If you are the kind of person, then go ahead and use WordPress with Elementor.
Now, let me tell you that there are other platforms that you can use. They’re also good, but something that I really like about these ones and I choose them and I recommend you to go for them as well is because these platforms, these website builders, they grow with your business as time goes by…
What do I mean by this? When you’re getting started with your business, you want to need the basics, right. But when time goes by and you start growing, you’re going to need different programs, integrations, and tools for your business, and you need to make sure that these programs can integrate with your website builder. And if they don’t. Well, you will have to move from one platform to another. And this, this is for me, a complete waste of time, energy.
You will have to learn the platform all over again. Basically, start all over again. And with these website builders, you have enough space to grow and you won’t have the necessity to move from one platform to another. It is super important that you realize this, and choose the right platform.
So basically that’s it guys, those are the best website builders I recommend. At the end of the day, it’s all about testing. You can go and test these platforms. See if you liked them or not.
